Hi 2023 Developmental group.  Some of you may have already received the club information from our president, but some of you are also new since this email was sent. Sorry for any duplication.   I have pasted the email in below for you info.  Please disregard the information on bonds and volunteer commitment.  This is not applicable to the developmental group. Hello Piranhas families,

On behalf of the Piranhas Board, I'd like to welcome our new families to the Cochrane Piranhas, and welcome our returning families to another summer swim season. Our season is just around the corner with our first practices on Monday, May 1st!

2023 schedule

Please see the 2023 Team Info page on our website for the 2023 practice schedule and meet schedule. We have also created downloadable iCal format files for each of the groups if you would like to add them to your digital calendar. You'll find these on the Calendar page.

Fees

Fees are due April 1st and can be e-transferred to [email protected] and questions about fees can be emailed to that address.

Bonds

All families must pay their fundraising and volunteer bonds before the season starts. There is a $150 Volunteer Bond per family and a $100 Fundraising Bond per swimmer.

The bonds can be e-transferred to [email protected], or you can provide cheques (this is our preference). If you choose to use cheques please post-date them for August 1st 2023 and bring them to your swimmer's first practice and give them to a board member.

Volunteer Coordinator

Our Volunteer Coordinator, Kendra Marr Lange, has recently taken on some additional responsibilities and would like to recruit an assistant for the Volunteer Coordinator role. This position isresponsible for managing and scheduling our parent volunteers into the various volunteer positions. If you have questions about the role please reach out to Kendra Marr Lange at volunteercoordinatorpiranha[email protected].
