Three ways to become a junior volunteer coach for the Piranhas:

Courses required:

Bronze Star

Bronze medallion

Intermediate First Aid

Bronze Cross

Lifesaving & Swim for Life instructor

Courses required:

Community coaching course (~$131.25)

Making ethical decisions

Courses required:

Pre-swim 101

Swim 101 (~$367.50)

Making ethical decisions

Courses need to be completed before the season starts May 1st. Proof of completion will be requested.

Work Experience/Volunteer hours for high school credit will be given if required.

  2. This username and password will allow you to access the LMS.
  3. Login to the LMS!

Only the virtual/online courses held in Alberta will be accepted by Swim Alberta and ASSA.
