Hi Piranhas Families,

Thank you for attending our Piranhas 2026 Season Team Awards and AGM on Friday. It was a great evening as shown by all the smiles on the faces of our families, coaches and swimmers. Given we were up against a tight agenda timeline, we didn't provide the Casino Fundraiser update as planned. So here goes...

A big thank you to everyone who has signed up so far. We now have 31 of 36 shifts filled, so we only need 5 more to cover all positions. There are also 8 last-minute backups positions (2 per shift), but those only come into play if someone that is signed up can’t make it.

Now that it is past August 30, families can sign up for more than one shift. If you take additional shifts, they must be in the same position. For example, if you were Banker on your first shift, any extra shifts must also be as Banker. If you want more shifts and they are not available, we can look at moving people around to make it work.

Extended family and friends are now welcome to volunteer, but only as Chip Runner or Count Room Staff. Club members (parents, executives, and age-of-majority swimmers) can work those roles as well as General Manager, Banker, Count Room Supervisor, and Cashier.
