Hi Piranhas Family,

This is a reminder that our mandatory online Parent Information Meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 28 from 6:30–7:30 PM. Attendance will be recorded to ensure you receive credit for participating.There have been several updates to the volunteering process this season, and it’s important that all families are informed.

For those who are new to summer swimming and interested in becoming an official, we are also offering an Introduction to Officials session immediately following the parent meeting, from 7:30–8:30 PM.

You can register for both sessions through the Events page on the Cochrane Piranhas website. Microsoft Teams meeting links are available there.

Volunteer Requirements
Swim Alberta requires all volunteers to complete the following:

1) Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - submitted to RCMP before May 1st; VSC letter from Cochrane Piranhas

2) Screening Application form - Appendix B  Write "VOLUNTEER" in "Position Sought" field.

3) Screening Disclosure form - Appendix C

Please do not email these documents to the board. A board member will complete a visual verification of your documents by May 15.
