Hi Piranhas families, 

I have put together a preliminary list of qualifiers and wildcard spots based on results I could see on meet mobile for all other regions (yes this took a while!).  The list is not official and there could be some errors, but it gives people a better idea of what to expect this coming weekend.

I believe the wildcard draw will not be available until Wednesday.  When that is released there will likely be more alternates and wildcard qualifiers than what I put on the list (so don't completely give up on further swims qualifying!! ... just like in our own club how we had scratches for provincials, other clubs throughout the province will also have had scratches which can move our swimmers up into wildcard or alternate spots).

If you see your swimmer's name on the list for INDIVIDUAL swims and do NOT want to swim at provincials in a specific session (or at all), please let me know so I can update the wildcard draw with the scratch to allow more swimmers to potentially qualify.

We are allowed to have 1 chaperone per swimmer under 12 ... I have based my numbers on 12&U and rounded up for the number of chaperones we can have.

If you would like to be a chaperone, please let me know TODAY.  I have until noon tomorrow to submit names.  After that apparently we will lose our ability to have accredited chaperones on deck for the 5 sessions of provincials.

We are allowed 3 chaperones for all afternoon sessions and 2 for the morning ones (13 spots total)

We have 44 swimmers qualified to provincials which is an outstanding number.  So proud of everyone!

I will update the club records later today.  We missed some at the meet on the weekend.  We had a total of 11 individual and 5 club records fall this weekend.  Just amazing.
