Hi Piranhas families!
I have created signups for all of the meets scheduled for this season.  The deadline is generally the previous Friday before the meet (ie 8 days before the meet).

There are a lot of behind the scenes admin issues happening with the ASSA this season due to our association being a beta tester for the new RTR system from Swim Canada which means it is taking longer than expected to get meet packages.  We usually use the meet event files when creating the meets on swimtopia so that we can easily import results and update swimmer best times within the platform.  However with the uncertainty of the season I've decided to just create simple sign ups in order to give as much advance notice as possible to families.

Please feel free to update your attendance plans for all upcoming meets as soon as you know your plans.

The significant exception is regionals and provincials.  We need extra notice so that we can have time to build regional relay teams that have a chance at qualifying for provincials; so the deadline for regionals and for declaration of availability for provincials will be July 25th at 11:59 pm.

This will give the coaches time to build regional relays and confirm that there are no errors.  

As a side note for relay selection, please be aware that we use swimmer best times to help us choose the most competitive teams possible; so it would be helpful if you can plan to attend the Swordfish or Tritons swim meet to have the most up to date times possible for consideration.
