Hi Piranhas Families!

Welcome to the start of the 2023 season.  Just a couple of important fundraising updates that you need to be aware of. 

1) Thai Manna - Fundraiser dates May 1 - May 14th

These are delicious Thai kits that are easy to prepare especially on busy nights.  You may have tasted their products at the Calgary Farmer's Market.  Fresh for 10 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 6 months.

2) Bottle Drive and Welcome BBQ - Saturday May 13th 

This is our biggest fundraiser and a great way to meet all the families. 

Meeting time - 9:45 am. in Heartland (see map for location).  

Collecting bottles - 10:00 am - 12:30 pm.  Swimmers please sign in with the coordinators either Dipika or Tracy.  

We will be canvasing Heartland and Heritage Hills for bottle donations.  Wear your Piranhas gear if you have any, if not no worries.  $50 fundraising credit for each swimmer that participates.  

We will require 2 parent volunteers for ~1 hour shifts to stay by the trailer and help load the donations as they come in.  You can sign up on the events tab on the club website.

3) Welcome BBQ - will be held at the Heartland Park

Sign up on the website under the events tab before May 12th if you are attending the BBQ. Please indicate any food allergies or dietary restrictions.  

Remember to bring your own chairs.  Kids are welcome to bring soccer balls, frisbees etc to play.
