Cochrane Swim meet

Good evening everyone!

I'm just writing to congratulate everyone on an extremely successful first meet! There were tons of best times, even from times that were only a few days old! Some extremely notable results were from Max Kruger and Jake Barclay who smashed through the 30 seconds 50 free barrier and recorded times of 28.83 and 28.90 respectively. The 30-second threshold is a very important milestone for older swimmers.
For some of the new swim parents, meet results are usually uploaded within a day of the meet ending, and can be found on assa.ca. To find your child results, load the main webpage, hover the results/rankings tab and click swimmer statistics, or use the following link (http://assa.ca/web/stats/swimmer/swimmerStats.php)
Dont worry too much about DQs as it is only the first meet of the season. We will be working with the swimmers over the season to improve strokes. Please leave technical feedback to the coaches as we have very specific training plans and learning out of order can cause more issues down the line.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me or any of the other coaches, we are more then happy to chat. I look forward to seeing everyone at practice this week!

Thanks, Duncan
